It is better for the apps to be placed on your phone's hard drive where it is easier to work with than being on a SD card made for only pictures for extra storage. There is also a paid version , but the free version is good enough for this purpose. Next, follow the steps below to the letter, and you should have some extra space on your SD card for apps.

Before partitioning your SD card, be sure to back up all data on your SD card. This partitioning procedure will erase everything on it.
